There is a rumour going about that the Wii possesses far more graphics horsepower than what Nintendo has had us to believe. The reasoning being that Nintendo can wow us with great graphics just before the Wii is to be released.

Not to sure about this rumour except that I am sure everyone has noticed the huge improvement in graphics quality of the latest Red Steel movies and screen shots.
